University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) at Kigali, Rwanda

Dr. Maraisha Philogene spent time at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) at Kigali, Rwanda during her Global Pediatric Fellowship to assist in supporting the foundation for a pediatric clerkship at the new clinical site in the Rwanda Military Hospital (RMH). During her time there, she developed and lead 2 simulation cases, organized medical teachings for medical students and residents, and provided bedside teaching to medical students and residents. Moving forward, Dr. Philogene will continue to support RMH/UGHE by recruiting additional local pediatric faculty to lead simulations and medical teaching topics.
