Supporting Pediatric Oncology Nursing in Myanmar

During her fellowship, Marilyn Moonan partnered with nurses at Yangon Children's Hospital in Yangon, Myanmar to  provide education and support capacity strengthening efforts to improve care provided to children with cancer and their families. Marilyn and Global Health Nursing Fellowship Director Lisa Morrissey established a relationship with a nursing program in Yangon to guide and support nurses with educational initiatives with the goal to improve nursing practice, clinical skills, and patient outcomes.
