Basic Life Support Training in Bangladesh

During her Global Nursing Fellowship, Erin Babine worked with the National Heart Foundation in Bangladesh to develop and implement a nursing training program in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU on Basic Life Support. While there, she trained 29 nursed and 8 physicians on Basic Life Support skills.

Staff were provided with bedside and classroom style training. Clinical leaders were provided with additional support to become "CPR champions" to continue the training.
